Partial closes can help lock in profit or derisk a position, without closing it for 100%. For some strategies, this can be a huge game changer and make you feel more comfortable in your trades.
How do I implement it into my strategy?
The partial close tile, much like the DCA tile for adding to a position, can be used once. That means when this tile has been executed, it will not execute a second time on the same position. You can however have multiple different partial close tiles to partially close a position multiple times.

In the example above, I want to close 25% of the current position when the RSI on the 5m is above 80.
Chaining partial closes
You can chain partial close tiles, just like you can chain DCA tiles. The idea is simple: the partial close tiles act as checkpoints, so the next one can only execute if the first one has already been hit.
The cooldown in seconds can be crucial here, since you might not want multiple partial closes to hit too quickly after another. It all depends on what your goal is.
Example of chaining:

Having partial closes separate from each other is also possible
You don't have to chain partial closes. You can simply have different paths coming from your buy or entry tile that have a different close condition, like so:
